Arcade.dev LLM tools for Confluence

Author:Arcade
Version:4.0.1
Auth:User authorization via the Atlassian auth provider
13tools

Arcade's Confluence toolkit provides LLM tools for interacting with Atlassian Confluence, enabling agents to read, write, search, and manage pages, spaces, and attachments via the Confluence API.

Capabilities

  • Page management: Create pages, retrieve single or batched pages by ID or title, update page content and titles, and explore content hierarchies via direct-children traversal.
  • Space and cloud discovery: List all available spaces, retrieve space details by ID or key, and enumerate accessible Atlassian Cloud instances.
  • Attachment access: List workspace-level attachments and retrieve attachments scoped to a specific page.
  • Search: Full-text search across the authenticated user's Confluence workspace with AND/OR logic combinable across multiple terms.
  • User context: Retrieve the current authenticated user's profile and associated Confluence clouds — recommended as the first call in any agent workflow.

OAuth

Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 via the Atlassian provider. See the Arcade Atlassian auth provider docs for configuration details.

Create a new page at the root of the given space.
Retrieve a SINGLE page's content by its ID or title. If a title is provided, then the first page with an exact matching title will be returned. IMPORTANT: For retrieving MULTIPLE pages, request them by ID in one batch call instead for a massive performance and efficiency boost. If you call this function multiple times instead of making one batch call, then the universe will explode.
Get the details of a space by its ID or key.
Get available Atlassian Clouds.
List attachments in a workspace
List one page of direct children for a Confluence content item. Call this again with a returned child ID to continue exploring that child's children. For pagination, send only pagination_token and optionally limit.
Get attachments for a page by its ID or title. If a page title is provided, then the first page with an exact matching title will be returned.
List pages with their content, newest first by default, optionally only the pages with the given IDs or in the given spaces. To read the content of several pages, list them by their IDs in one call instead of making one call per page.
List all spaces sorted by name in ascending order.
Search for content in Confluence. The search is performed across all content in the authenticated user's Confluence workspace. All search terms in Confluence are case insensitive. You can use the parameters in different ways: - must_contain_all: For AND logic - content must contain ALL of these - can_contain_any: For OR logic - content can contain ANY of these - Combine them: must_contain_all=['banana'] AND can_contain_any=['database', 'guide']
Update a page's content.
Rename a page by changing its title.
CALL THIS TOOL FIRST to establish user profile context. Get information about the currently logged-in user and their available Confluence clouds.
